Introducing the Skills for the Future 2016/17 Trainees’ joint Heritage Project: The website is a learning resource designed to help people interpret some of the archaeology on the Isle of Eigg, part of the Small Isles in the Inner Hebrides, and it also highlights material from the Historic Environment Scotland archives. The idea for the website was inspired by our visit to the island last year and uses content produced by ourselves in 2016 as well as material generated by RCAHMS staff during their survey of the island in 2001 and 2002. London Networking Trip

A Very Big Collection

Oh dear, this blog has been a little quiet recently – but with good reason. For the last few weeks we have been completely immersed in the world of the 19th Century Edinburgh Architect, William Notman. The large collection of drawings, sketchbooks, textbooks, building specifications and letters was in dire need of sorting and we were given the task of making sense of it all.
