It’s been a busy few weeks here at The David Livingstone Centre with several exciting projects and events taking place. The centre held a ‘Magical May hem’ event which featured several family friendly activities including a Green Man themed one that I ran.   As part of the RCAHMS Skills for the Future traineeship, we Education and Outreach trainees get the opportunity to work with partners in different locations for three months between April and June.  I have just completed my first month working as Outdoor Learning Intern with the National Trust for Scotland based at The David Livingstone Centre, Blantyre. Education trainees shadow Scran Team

  Education trainees Annie and Cathy went to Dundee on Wednesday this week to shadow Scran Education Officer Andrew as he delivered a training session to local teachers and librarians. It was a great opportunity to share our newfound knowledge of the Scran database and to see how teachers use the search tools in order to create curriculum based material.
