Interpreting Archaeology on the Isle of Eigg

Posted by in Education & Outreach, General Collections, Skills for the Future

Introducing the Skills for the Future 2016/17 Trainees’ joint Heritage Project:

The website is a learning resource designed to help people interpret some of the archaeology on the Isle of Eigg, part of the Small Isles in the Inner Hebrides, and it also highlights material from the Historic Environment Scotland archives. The idea for the website was inspired by our visit to the island last year and uses content produced by ourselves in 2016 as well as material generated by RCAHMS staff during their survey of the island in 2001 and 2002.
This has been the culmination of much hard work from ourselves, the Archaeologists and the Web team.
We hope you enjoy it,
Anna, Lewis & Niamh
